I'm just now catching up on this glorious run of tears, so someone might've responded to this already, but did this guy really say that Sumrall built two programs from the ground up and seriously mean it? I haven't even looked up Troy yet, because who gives a **** about Troy, but anyone that even casually follows cfb should know that Willie Fritz had Tulane humming when he left for Houston.

In the 2 years prior to Sumrall getting there, Tulane won 23 games (just for reference, in Sunbelt Billy's tenure, the gator won 22 games). How, exactly, does taking over a program that went 23-5 and won a NY6 game and simply not crashing that Porsche constitute "building a program from the ground up"?

Sorry, G5 Jonny, I'm sure you're a nice guy and all, but I hope you are thrown out with the bathwater 2.75 years from now and we get to do this whole song and dance for the fourth time this decade.

Twinblade Jonny may be nice now, but I’m sure by June, we’ll have plenty of reasons to hate his guts.
