I think UCLA is at a big decision point. They can get the donor support and go all in on Football with a hire they all get behind, or they'll just suck for the next 6+ years with an unispiring hire and no commitment.

Like If UCLA committed today to hiring a HC for $10M and spending $25M/yr on NIL - something I do think they have the financial ability to do it's just about aligning everyone whereas some programs just don't ahve that ability - they could be a real good program to go to. Great recruiting area, honestly kinda low expectations... Like It's an easier job than UF.

Like If UF hired Kliff Kingsbury and promised 4 yrs of top NIL budget... it's be a very interesting program

So they hire Billy who has recruited better than Mullen but can’t win games despite having the largest coaching budget in school history and NIL buying players for him. I guess it’s true that good recruiting can’t overcome garbage coaching.
