This is tears but they can bankroll an immediate turnaround with the portal. Entice someone and tell him they will give him all the money to rebuild the roster. This is the portal era. FSU was 2-10 last season let's not forget.

You have alot of people running the sports that don't like the power and money the players getting now, so they think abstaining is am act of defiance, like Dabo. He heading to the unemployed line. Some of the university heads are like this as well.

Not all these lower level or mid level coaches can cut it at the top table. I think Kiffin is probably the realistic one with the coaching cache to be able to withstand bad periods and get blind faith from the fans. Golesh and others could be shell shocked with the expectations of beating teams fans think they should and watch the film and realize, said teams are better than them. Like mizzou for example.

They don’t have the money like people think they do. They’re barely up for air from paying off Mullen. It’s not enough to match the money, you have to outspend the others. OU, Oregon, Texas, Alabama, LSU, OSU*, TAMU, etc. are spending more money than UF could keep up with already. Then there’s the Ole Miss and Miamis who have entered the chat with big budgets. We’re making so much money through UHealth they’d have a hard time in state, forget national. They aren’t going to be able to buy the biggest name coach and give him the biggest bank. And FSU doesn’t mean **** yet. They beat a declining Bama week 1 and a school no one knew existed.

I hope it's Leipold.

Everybody can spare me the "all he does is win, just look what he's doing at Kansas" talk. He's never coached farther south than Kansas or been in a big boy recruiting battle. The SEC and Mario would eat him alive.

The ADs always think it’s about hiring the biggest name possible but that’s been disproven more than it’s worked. Look at Jimbo and TAMU, passed his prime. Look at DeBoner currently at Bama, terrible fit that doesn’t translate to the SEC.
 
I didnt say they had money or not. I said that's what they need to do. What if Gatorade starts pouring money into their NIL or some o famous alum? Look at us, they were saying we were dead and poor, never to return. I used to have to watch those videos by week 4 every season. Now people are legit saying we are the best team they seen.
