I'm so, so happy Florida lost to South Florida. Clemson was losing 16-3 to Troy at the half before making a comeback. LSU won 21-7 over Louisiana.

I get the feeling that LSU isn't that good given how Clemson struggled with Troy. If Florida had won, we'd be hearing about an amazing top 15 matchup of LSU and Florida.

Now, we can view the LSU vs Florida game through the lense of South Florida. If LSU struggles with Florida, they'll look fraudulent.

It's all set up nicely for Miami. Beat South Florida by a large margin showing the separation of Miami and Florida. Next, blow out Florida for a better win than LSU over Florida. Miami into the top 3 over LSU exposing the the overrated SEC.

they’ll beat someone and the cycle starts all over again. I don’t see UF firing him midseason regardless so he’ll have plenty of opportunities to steal one. Even a ranked miss state might be enough for a glimmer of hope.
