Stats don't tell you everything. He probably took 10-15 snaps over our LGs and won 80% of them. The sack came on Rodriguez. He had another pressure just throwing McCoy out of the way and chased Ward out of the pocket and he threw it away.

Yeah I dont think he is trash, not great or elite but pretty good, I candidly do not think he starts over Bain or Messidor here, he would be DE3 at best.

You're overrating Mesidor a little bit. Its a mock and a projection but I've seen Sapp in the 1st round on some of them.

I was right there with you until last year. He finally lived up to what he was supposed to be out of HS. Looked like a bust before then.

He was the one I was on the fence about. I am hoping the foot injury, plus the weight gain last season and playing out of position was a fluke and he gets back to his soph form this year. I could be talked out of it but its not like he would be a shoe-in for that starting spot opposite Bain, I think it be close.
