Yeah that was for public consumption but all it has done is add more eyeballs on Lagway's health. I want to whip the Gators asses again but I don't want Lagway to be a Ralph Sampson or Sam Bowie.

That’s why Billy’s coach-speak with regard to the DJ timetable is a joke. Either Billy is just making promises he can’t keep and talking out of his ***, or he’s rushing guys back before they are ready to play post-injuries (and perhaps that is why many have multiple injuries). Either way, it’s a bad look.

Regardless of what we did to ourselves, we didn’t deserve to be in the CFB playoff last season but we deserved to be in it ahead of Alabama. They rank these guys crazy high, they beat each other and then get a pass

I agree. And, most of the college football media (ESPN and On3) are in business with the SEC so they help craft the narrative that undeserving SEC teams are better than other teams who are more deserving.

My apologies I lost track of what thread I was on. Forgot I was on Gator Tears. I’ll self impose a Gator Tears thread ban for 2 minutes. Sorry that’s the best I can do!

My Bull gator partner told me that he believes that Lagway will be “protected” until the “real” games start on week two. I asked how he looked on sprint-out passing drills this week and he gave me the middle finger.

I will note for the record that my partner has backed off on the smack talk after seeing vids of Beck throwing and Lagway throwing standing still.
 
Was watching the extended highlights of their game against ole ****. Rebels literally had a an identical game against the gayts that we had against Georgia tech. Where nothing was going right.
Multiple failed 4th down conversions trying to run that big tub of lard on outside runs
Missed field goal
Muffed punt
Stupid personal fouls
Horrible pick into triple coverage by dart
Then another pick by dart on the last drive after the gayts dropped a pick right before

But Lagway went 10/17 and 180 yards!

Florida’s D bailed them out several times in that game, and yes, most notably at the end on Dart’s last INT. This game was a ****show, as are most of UF’s games these days (see last year’s Tenn game too for a head scratcher). That’s what ****** coaching does to a team - as we know well. Games are sloppy and messy and wins happen due to a hope and a prayer and a bounce, and the defeats that aren’t blowouts are debated to death on the internet for years.

The sad part is that Billy is the OC and supposedly an offensive guru. 🤣

lol I’m actually on sabbatical. I’m on loan to the Loon Board over on Town Hall for the next year at minimum. Im intentionally avoiding recruiting for the most part. I just want to see the season and I’ll worry about the rest after that. I’m m just tired of the same thing each year.
