Floor is 11 wins in the ACC to get the CFP bid without being a conference champion.
I will probably get a lot of hate but I’d rather beat ND & UF and lose 2 ACC games, I actually won’t be surprised to see us go 8-0 at home but 2-2 on the road anddd I don’t expect us to lose @FSU. So KNOWING Mario and Miami I will have to say that we most likely will lose @SMU and 1 of @VT and @PITT and tbh if that happens we MIGHT miss the ACC championship but we are in for the CFP.

In this Scenario we’d have wins Vs ND/UF/Louisville/Syracuse, 1 of @VT or @Pitt + @FSU and I’d be more than okay with that considering the last 20 years

I wouldn't. 2 conferences loses most likely wont get Miami to the ACCCG which means no CFP and another season wasted.

A 10+ win ND and an 8 win gaytor team isn't enough to make the playoffs as a 3rd or 4th seed ACC team.

I wouldn’t be so sure, I don’t think 10-2 matters as much as WHERE those 2 are, running the table in the ACC won’t mean as much as beating ND/TheSEC, and if UF does get 8 wins it’ll absolutely be viewed as a quality win. I mean 9-3 got Bama a playoff spot.

Obviously I’d love all of the above and would like to be 12-0 but being as unbiased as possible I see 10-2 with this team. No matter how the season shakes up we HAVE to win one of ND or UF, but I’d rather we get both.

Why would a repeat of exactly what happened last season get us into the playoffs when it didn’t last year?

That doesn’t make much sense. We would need a ton of things out of our control to go our way. It’s the whole “we can win the coastal if U, V, W, X, Y, and Z happen.”

Control our own destiny and at least be in the ACCCG >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> hoping and praying the 9-3 ACC team loses to the 10/11 win ACC team.

Also, the committee will always try to get an extra undeserving SEC team in because “sTrEnGtH oF sChEdUlE”

Didn't know that.

But that should have been roughly the target from the get-go. To allow him to play his entire career well above that was a complete disservice to the health of that player. It makes them complete mercenaries and cut throat.

Again, there was a simple solution. Florida tied his seeing the field to hitting a weight target. And if he continued to miss, his scholarship would be contingent upon it. Unless there was an underlying condition, at which point he should not have been playing football to begin with.
He showed up to Gainesville as a freshman at 380 lbs I believe.

Most important games of the season may be Smu and loserville. They will be vying for a trip to Charlotte. And we will need the tie breakers against them. If we are 7-1 in conference with that loss to vatech then I’m we’re in Charlotte

330???

He came into UF probably 50-60lbs heavier than that. He probably hasn’t weighed 330 since 8-9th grade. But yes, I agree UF didn’t appear to do much to help him get to a reasonable weight.

50-60 pounds heavier than 330?

Try 110 pounds heavier than 330.

I got it. But what about specifically the 6 games Lagway started? My point is it’s retarded to compare an entire seasons statistics for one guy that played an entire season vs one that played half. I don’t even have to look at the stats to know that UFs defense was lights out those games. We couldn’t stop anything, literally anything, the second half of the season.

This is exactly the point.

Lagway started a game against SAMFORD where it didn't matter WHAT the Gator defense did.

Then he played in the last part of the season when his defense was actually great, and held 4 consecutive teams to under 20 points.

So, yeah...there's lies, **** lies, and statistics...

I don’t know why I’m so shocked, because it actually feels like it’s been since Urban since the Gators have had any of that!

Crazy to see it laid out like that.

I have high hopes for Jenny to finally get her gymnastics ship though! 🤸🏼
