Dude was signed as an undrafted free agent, not a draft pick. Bucs have nothing to lose.
Except a negligent-death civil suit...

The article says "Watson has been working hard to lose weight."
Imagine typing and publishing that.
Seriously! The article says "Watson has been working hard to lose weight."
Imagine typing and publishing that.
Imagine Castellanos trying to throw over a 7' 9" center. I mean **** even Justin Herbert would struggle to throw over him. They so are desperate for help on special teams they tried out Olivier Rioux (7’9” basketball player) but he only has an ELEVEN INCH VERTICAL so he was useless.

Gators' Rioux, all 7-foot-9 of him, tries football
Florida basketball player Olivier Rioux, a 7-foot-9 center who played for the Under-19 Canadian national team this summer, recently worked out for the Gators' football team.www.espn.com
Apparently he has already lost 30 pounds since being with the bucs.
FIFYImagine Castellanos trying to throw over a 5' 9" center.
Either he has a severe leptin deficiency, or he's averaging 6400 daily calories.Seriously!
I mean 2 weeks of a caloric deficit he drops 20lbs. 1 month he is down 50.
So he is either fat and lazy or has a major thyroid problem.

Is that his basal metabolic rate number? I don't think that accounts for calories spent working out, which is a massive number given the amount of time these guys spend running, lifting, etc. I have a family member who struggled to keep his weight while playing D1 football. Played OL and coaches wanted him up around 300. He came to camp in year 3 weighing like 275 and the coaches were pízzed off. He wasn't trying to lose weight. His basal metabolic rate skyrocketed from a few years in their S&C program and he struggled to eat the 6000+ calories a day he needed to in order to just MAINTAIN his weight. He eventually got his weight up and was a three year starter, but he said it was a bí7ch to keep his weight up. Like it was a chore.Either he has a severe leptin deficiency, or he's averaging 6400 daily calories.
Leptin deficiencies are extraordinarily rare.
He could lose 100 lbs in a snap with any serious calorie restriction.
You're correct. I wasn't factoring in any calories burned. Is that his basal metabolic rate number? Is there a difference between ESPN and The Onion these days? This from THE ONION?
A large Big Mac meal contains 1300 calories +/-. Imagine eating 6-7 of those EVERY DAY. There's not enough weed on the planet for me to be able to accomplish that - and I am not skinny. You're correct. I wasn't factoring in any calories burned.
He's probably eating 7500 plus. Daily.
The Onion smells betterIs there a difference between ESPN and The Onion these days?
7500 calories daily is the wheelhouse of olympic swimmers and the Tour De France.A large Big Mac meal contains 1300 calories +/-. Imagine eating 6-7 of those EVERY DAY. There's not enough weed on the planet for me to be able to accomplish that - and I am not skinny.
