To be fair I don't think it'll be Sale or Callaway. No way Billy is THAT dumb. ... I mean.. right??

I just text one of their boosters about it. Keep in mind that this is only one guy.. But..

I asked what changes Billy needs to make.

"**** him. And **** Strickland too.

Billy is on his 3rd play calling defensive coordinator.
His 3rd secondary coach.
His 3rd linebacker coach.
His 3rd offensive line coach.
His 2nd WR coach.
His 2nd TE coach.
His 2nd D-line coach.
His 2nd strength coach.

He's handed out DC titles to 4 coaches and OC titles to 3. He had 2 associate HC AT THE SAME TIME. He's given out an assisitant HC and an exuctive HC title.

Its year 3!!! What's left to change??!!"

Semi-related question: Is Kiffin actually angling for a job? I know he’s job hopped his entire career and he’s pretty much hit the ceiling at Ole Miss. is there a chance another school scoops him up after this season while the gator is still keeping Billy around? Because that would be really awesome.
 
They’re 50th on recruiting. I don’t think kids are going to be chomping at the bit to now flip their since he’s staying. Probably the opposite. They were in purgatory and now declining. Sucks to suck

Strickland upset a lot of boosters by giving him a vote of confidence without their approval.

The boosters have to be willing to pay 10’s of millions of dollars in the next few months. I don’t think they will if Strickland is picking the next HC. That said, I don’t know if Napier’s buyout can be paid over time.
