Love how they think Napier is not playing the supposedly more talented and better underclassmen just because. Never occurs them that those players aren't playing because they have not beat out the guys ahead of them. I personally would start Lagway over Mertz just because Mertz sucks.

Don't forget they have to buyout Riley, Lane, etc. and their staffs current contracts and in the case of Riley USC basically gave him a $9M home as part of his deal. Not sure all of the homes in Gainesville are worth $9M.

I believe I have posts from last year that quantified the cost of moving on from Slingblade Billy at greater than $50 million OVER what they are already overpaying for currently.

Spurrier didn't even stay at that destination job, and he was an alum.
Only two coaches who have ever truly succeeded at that destination job.

Looks like a minimum $60 million to get it done, plus both are going to want guaranteed commitments to invest in the program/NIL like Mario did and 10 year contracts.
