Jackson was the one that posted "this team sucks" on X?
Forget win streak I bet if Lagway plays well and they beat Samford on Saturday they will be saying if only Lagway had started against Miami we would have won.You know what would not shock me at all. UF wins its next four. Lagway has some bright moments and then they hit the real part of their schedule only to lose out and end up playing FSU in a game to see who can win their 5th game.
You know during that win streak "Man if Lagway played the whole Miami game we probably beat them." and "nevermind how this season plays out, looking at next year I see 10 wins minimum with Lagway and the incoming class"
It’s like you stole their playbook!!!Forget win streak I bet if Lagway plays well and they beat Samford on Saturday they will be saying if only Lagway had started against Miami we would have won.
Honestly, surprised they haven’t said it yet.Forget win streak I bet if Lagway plays well and they beat Samford on Saturday they will be saying if only Lagway had started against Miami we would have won.
Normal fan behavior tbh. We’ve done it plenty of times. Just wait until Lagway goes out and wins like 3 or 4 games the next month they will start telling themselves (and us) that they would have beat us if he started over Mertz. Wait and seeIt’s a good read
We aren’t good it’s just UF sucks that bad. Only few of their fans saw the elite line play and Ward being elite. Very very very few
I thought the same **** thing, they would say they would have won lol. They delusional asf they would of gotten that kid killed.Normal fan behavior tbh. We’ve done it plenty of times. He gon gone meng.Slingblade gets a sliver of hope to save his job with the Mertz injury. Lagway NEEEDS to show out this weekend and slowly takes over the starting job by midseason.
Will be his only hope
IDK man they are in a tough spot. If they fire him they have that HUGE buyout. Also do not forget that Sasse resigned and they are being investigated for improper use of school funds and Fuchs is back as the interim president. Fuchs is not planning on staying long, he is just a stopgap since Sasse resigned abruptly and they need to get someone new.Slingblade gets a sliver of hope to save his job with the Mertz injury. I mean he did have the one scoring drive when we were basically just trying to get out of there without any injuries.Honestly, surprised they haven’t said it yet.
This really hits the nail on the head. The Interim President would have to fire an AD and HC that he hired. Hire new ones and then get out of Dodge. I think he is unlikely to do that and burden the new President with his newest choices..........................IDK man they are in a tough spot. If they fire him they have that HUGE buyout. Fuchs hired Strickland the AD and Billy. Will he really fire Billy and Strickland and hire someone knew knowing he is gone and likely saddling the next guy with whomever he chooses? Or does he try to not make waves and just keep everything somewhat status quo? Doubtful Fuchs can raise the booster base to buyout Billy and open the checkbook for a big name coach in the offseason, **** I doubt Fuchs even wants to go through another coach search.
I would wonder if he even has the power to do it or is he only allowed to basically keep the lights on in the interim,. If someone is an interim manager they usually are not given authority to just hire and fire people at will. Now their board may get to the point where they say Napier and the AD have to go but it will not be the interim President likely making that decision. This really hits the nail on the head.
