Anything can happen in CFB, but I’ve yet to see a good reason on how UF beats us. Every explanation I’ve seen is (1) because the swamp and (2) Mario Cristobal gameday coaching. Not that surprised though. Lots of CFB analysts who thought FSU was a top ten team are saying the same thing.

Like FSU fans worshiping their frat bro writers on 247 that sunshine pump everything and then get let down.... how do Gator fans put any stock whatsoever into this guy's opinions?

You can't convince me that he knows the first thing about what he sees on a football field.

If he was just a beat writer and covered their team, fine. But I've seen lots of hot takes saying Mertz is a better QB, UF has better TEs and talking about Guidry's scheme, etc.

Joe Dirt had his morning LoG show today and he spent a third of it ripping our fans. I think Joe is more concerned with public opinion than on-field product.

Let me paraphrase some of these hot takes Mr. Dirt made:

Not sold on Miami's defensive line because Miami going against a vaunted SEC offensive line. Made the comparison in the trenches to Austin or Marshall within the 'G4'--essentially saying it's easy for our defense to look good against opponents in the ACC but its unproven against an SEC team (despite the TAMU win).

Mentioned Reuben Bain being a good pass rusher, else on Reuben Bain "his own words":

I tried to keep listening but Mr. Dirt just kept on going on about Miami fans and our opinions. Reminded me of a quote from GoT. Brandon Dirt ain't no lion.

We don't get credit for Sam Brown.

That means they don't get credit for Elijhah Badger and Chimere ****.

Tuesday morning will be a rough time for him. You should be comforting and supportive. Maybe redecorate his office. Extend an olive branch by sharing some Hurricanes memorabilia with him. Bring him donuts in the morning. A lot of bakeries will do custom orders for orange and green frosting. Maybe buy him some orange and green M&Ms as a nice snack to keep on his desk, link below.

But don't mention the game. That would be cruel.
