Mertz is 1984 Dan Marino. In fact, he IS Dan Marino…he time traveled to 2024 to play for the Gators and mentor Lagaway.

Gators will win 83 games next year.

It's even worse than that....

Because they continue to pay lip service to the idea that they need to improve their OL...

But then they provide NO SPECIFICS as to how that tricky little prerequisite will just happen...

Nope, ALLLLL of the magical-thinking improvements will come from Graham Schmutz "getting better" on his own. Suuure, he doesn't need a better OL to remain upright. Suuuure, he doesn't need WRs or RBs. Nope, it's just the "second year in the same system" phenomenon that is going to make him Joe Burrow - V2.
