Wait did I miss when Napier was OC at Bama because based on that qoute he is taking credit for Ridley having 1K yards as a freshman. I know he was the WR coach but not sure I would give him much credit for those 89 receptions and 1K yards. It would seem the OC called plays that Ridley then executed. I'm sure in Napier's mind that was all his WR teaching of an incoming freshman because clearly Ridley knew nothing of playing WR before the great Napier got hold of him after Mario recruited Ridley to Bama. Also that is going to be a lot of YAC if Smith is going to get 1K in Napier's offenses. The Mertz special seems to be the 5 or so yard pass followed by hope the WR can get more.

Plus if what blue chip Ridley did at Bama impresses Smith he should be elated with what Dawson got out of Tune and the receiers at Houston the last couple of years.

God, it is just breathtaking how STUPID the Gaytor fans are.

I could go into great depth and detail about how ridiculous all those posts are. About how Smith has no connection to Florida. About how Mario can EEEEASILY undercut Slingblade Billy by explaining how MARIO is the one who recruited Ridley to Alabama. About how all of Smith's friends from childhood are coming to Miami.

But, sure...Smith has been on their campus...and he says nice things about Slingblade Billy...and "Lagway"...

I personally know a family of a kid that is committed to UF and talk with the kid at the school I work at pretty much every day. I know what they have said and promised him and what he has received for doing different "tasks" for them, so make ur little smart *** comments but the things that ppl here allude to are true. Do other schools do the same? I'm sure some do but not all of them do cause he was recruited by others and didn't get "treated" the same by any of the others as far as he has shared with me.
I tell him all the time how he is corny to go to that school and he just laughs at me and says it can't be that bad. His dad works with a law firm but is not a lawyer, and he already is ready to have them look over the NIL agreement because he knows that they can't be fully trusted with wording and clauses.

Because, correct me if I'm wrong, the WR coach can't independently tell one player where to line up on offense without the OC calling the plays, right?

Seems to me, Jeremiah Smith is being fed a whopping pile of LIES by Slingblade Billy...

It's one of the most outrageous things I've ever seen in a quote.

Look, from DAY ONE...I have been pointing out how Slingblade Billy rode everyone's coattails to the UiF job.

So while Mario RECRUITED Calvin Ridley, and Lane Train CALLED THE PLAYS for Calvin Ridley, somehow Slingblade Billy is claiming all the credit?

Can't possibly make this **** up...

It’s common knowledge Mario recruited Ridley to bama. You would think you would use a different example than one that had a direct connection to cristobal in Ridley. Napier prob just doesn’t have much success to sell outside of Calvin
