Top 5 will be tough and Jackson won't be rated 94 when he is reclassified. Ivins already said he doesnt think he will remain even in the top 247.
Out of curiosity did Ivins say why he thinks he'll be dropped out of the top 247 when they reclassify him? I would expect some change in the ranking given that he will have to be re-slotted but that's a pretty drastic drop/ Were they planning on dropping him in the 24 class too?

It seemed to be because of impact. Based off who we brought in last year in addition to Cormani. Ivins and Lake are also both high on Stafford. Also when it comes to the 24 class he's now getting compared to the 23 class and Ivins likes some in the 23 class over Jackson right now.

Even if they drop Jackson to a “3 star”… if the best case scenario happens and we finish with Innis, Samson, Ricks, Wilson, M’Pemba, Baxter, Brown, T. Williams, and Hussey (or some similar combination ) that’s a #1 class top 2 at worst.

Ok interesting. It just seems weird that a .9496 kid drops to below .9133 due to reclassification. They must value the 23 class much higher than the 24 class…that’s like a 140 spot drop.

Cue up the Gary Ferman "the evaluators need to watch his senior season tape" excuse...

Recruiting doesn’t matter

Respectfully, because I know you are a nice guy despite your shortsighted school preference, I also think that because of their large alumni bases and intense fan interest, many SEC recruits are "upsized" in the rankings to placate the audience. Your class this year is an example, many of the commitments are borderline 4 stars and most likely dont deserve that ranking. So on paper, you have a good class, but......

But not for Ricks who they put at #6 lol

Don't even get me started with on3's INCONSISTENCY. It's easy to put any given "consensus Top 10" recruit in your own Top 10. It just becomes confusing when on3 can't properly evaluate the best kids "because position change" or some other excuse, when three other ranking services are able to get the same job done.
