At this point it’s about the more granular rating. A four star like Malik who is .97 is not equal to Marcus Stokes who is a .88. Our lowest three star in Frankie who is .84 is closer to Stokes.
Kinda, there were always extra four stars but originally I think it was 300 or slightly less.
This is how ridiculous they are. Right now, their class has a higher blue chip percentage than Bama’s and Notre Dame’s so if we’re going by their logic, they’re right up there at the top.
Fans grasp at anything to make their rationalizations so they can keep their echo chambers/safe places in tact. The Florida Gators are the elite of the elites, the flagship, their 4 stars are naturally just better because of the helmet they will put on. Also if they somehow arent rated the way they see, well thats some conspiracy out to get their beloved program. We used to do it ourselves. Jacoby Briscoe was the best DT in La. he was a steal and easily a 4 star. Preston Dewey will end up a better QB than Winston who is overrated. J Holley is the best DT in Georgia, steal but since he committed to us he wasn't a 4 star. Jamal Carter is the most physically talented safety in the country, total freak, he is so underrated. We could go on and on. Nobody wants to face reality and whenever someone does they immediately get berated.
