I rarely believe anything that shows up on their board, but I'll say this. I believe this guy is from FAU because he's actually making sense. I don't know if he's right, but at least his statements are logical. It would actually make sense if we didn't want to pay too much for a QB this year. Maybe bullsh*t, but it would make sense. It would also make sense that uf finally realizes how completely f*cked they are right now and are willing to pay anything for a W.

All that said, what a bunch of ****ers. Every time we get a recruit we overpaid/cheated somehow, but them outbidding the world on this one is totally above board and a smart move.

Agreed. That guy’s post made sense.

I totally understand the gator overpaying for a QB because it’s a position of need. Just like when we overpaid for a DT because we needed one badly. The only difference is, UF needs DTs even more badly but wouldn’t pony up the cash. This leads me to believe that they’ve got all their NIL money tied up in one big deal for a quarterback and they’re hoping once they get one committed, they’ll be able to fill out the rest of their class without having to spend anything.

Yes. Of course, I would also point out that the "don't worry, Florida has plenty of money" claim makes NO SENSE when they are whining about "overpaying" every 5 minutes. If the Gaytors REALLY had so much money, they wouldn't be whining about an extra $100-150 K for a defensive tackle.

Just realize, when people lie to you, they usually embroider it with a little bit of truth, in order to gain credibility. You can't just tell 100 enormous lies in a row. But you can disguise a few lies by embellishing them with a bunch of smaller truths.

Yeeeaaaaahhhh, we should fear Gaytor recruiting because they have soooooo much money. Meanwhile, they hard-passed on nearly every recruit over money (they didn't offer enough to Citizen or Perkins, and they were sooooo frugal on the Portal kids), although they are FINALLY spending money on exactly ONE recruit (Rashada). Yeah, they have soooooo much money to spend, we should reeeeeealllllly worry...

110%. They had to have 2 DE’s move over to TE for spring practice because they had guys out and none of them are world beaters anyhow - like Nick Elktits is their lead TE and they’re passing on Mikeska????

Ok. That doesn’t bode well for them either if that’s true.

Aren’t these the guys that are posting pics of their recruits in their one boosters Lambo and tagging him to pay players they want to land?? What business exactly are those recruits promoting with their Name Image and Likeness?? These douchebags really have no fvcken clue how NIL is supposed to work. Fvck around and Ruiz may litigate the NCAA into stopping their corruption and actually enforcing the rules on their darling SEC

It’s astounding to me how they move the bar around as it suits them with no consistency whatsoever. Literally boasted about a job at Shands for Perkins’ mom and called for all kinds of illegal payments yet Miami - with a booster doing NIL structured deals - is the dirty program that needs to be punished - ya know bc it’s Miami and **** miami.
