That's because we don't. I don't know who you're referencing, but I've never heard that "SEC" chant from any UF fan unless it's UF winning against another conference in a big game. I can only post for myself definitively, but I'm pretty sure almost everyone on our board hates or doesn't care about any SEC program that isn't ours.

The only time that I "root" for other SEC teams is in situations where Bama is playing Georgia, Clemson, or some other team that I hate even more. Bama gets whoever it wants regardless, so I'd rather have Saban keep it going than someone I hate that's a rival or from out of state that's been poaching UF targets.

It's irrelevant. Being an NFL HOFer has to do with the individual, rather than which university that individual attended. Miami's NFL HOFers weren't NFL HOFers because they went to Miami. They weren't NFL HOFers for anything that they accomplished at Miami. They were NFL HOFers because they were elite football players who merely decided to take their elite talent to Miami. In an argument about college football programs and college football success, it has no basis. Any and all bragging rights about those HOFers is only relevant to the extent of their college accolades--which there are many. But as my GIF states, I don't care about what x player did outside of college.
