I gotta tell you, I find it somewhat great that some Gator fans on that board like the fact that Miami players were put in position by NIL law to make such a deal.

I also find it amazing that this dude allegedly went to law school. Based on what he is writing, he 100% didnt go to law school because he has zero clue about what the **** he is talking about.

Love it. Just love it. Drink it in, man.

Edit: Best part of them all: "Its a contract based on being a Miami football player". No ****, dude. Literally every single football player has contract valuation based on the fact that they play for a program and only get support from certain companies in the area because they play for a certain program. I wouldnt be surprised if contract language literally says "Deriq King, student athlete for the University of Miami, Florida" because NIL law requires them to write that in the contract (just an assumption).

He would be correct if the players formed a union within the University (which I dont think is legal) and all signed under that union (or a representative signing for them), but they didnt, because every contract is individually set up.
He’s actually a lawyer but obviously a clueless one.

So if (when) EA Sports eventually offers every scholarship football player in America some coin in exchange for using their NIL in NCAA 202x, that'll also violate the NIL law according to this doofus, right? Moron.

For the sake of society at large, I hope this clown exclusively represents pedophiles, slow drivers in the left lane, and brewery arsonists.

Dude is so dense he is completely missing the point and does not have the capability to see it from another point of view. He is the one to lose in court then blame the Judge to his client for getting it wrong. It is dangerous when an attorney only sees his way and no one elses.

I also wonder if he will have the same stamina if that one dude who posted the tweet about working on a large NIL deal for UF comes to fruition. Also think its funny that dude tweets "working on a big deal" immediately followed by "keeping it quiet it for now" like that dude might be a partner in northern gators firm, nothing says keeping a deal underwraps like posting it on social fing media. I looked the dude up. He has his own firm with 3 other lawyers, ten years out of law school and practices in broward county and is slogan is "Start saying I love my lawyer"

Only worry about accidentally hiring Northern gaytor as your attorney if you are getting legal advice in Chicago. He’s an associate in a firm there.
