I’m pretty sure that the guy that made the statement about Miami and Atlanta is from Ocala, IIRC. When he said what he said, I thought the same thing you did.

Years ago my father had some land in some central Florida towns like Ocala and he was dealing with a buyer. Not knowing that my father’s ******, the guy asked: “How the **** do you live in Miami? Down there you’ve got nothing but Blacks, Cubans and Jews.”

When people like this say or think something about 1 minority group or ethnicity, no one should think they don’t say or think badly about others, like yours and mine, when they’re with their friends.

Horrible losses for us last year. Yet here we are about to pass them on the trail. They’ve won 2 NY6 bowl games in a row and we’ve gone 7-6 & 6-7. They should be destroying us in recruiting. What happens if we win more and they win less?

Outside of racism, it's just fear of the unfamiliar. Every place has areas to avoid. It's the fear of not knowing where those area that get people to rationalize not going there.

I’d love it if he decided to bypass the gaytors and pick someone else. Unfortunately this gives them cover on a Palmetto whiff and adds a highly ranked player to their class. Is what it is. We got Kam and JW who I assume were our top 2 targets. Can’t take every one. It’s a great problem to have.
