If you really want to laugh, go to about 1:37 in the highlight. It'll tell you everyone you need to know about this kid. After the lame cut block he and his LG both make, watch how everyone gets up. His teammate is about 3 yards downfield trying to make another block before homeboy has gotten up off the floor.

I sincerely hope this young man signs on the dotted line and becomes a gaytor 4 lyfe.

The Gaytors love this kid so much, they are going to count him forward to both the 2021 and 2022 recruiting classes.

If they lose to Tennessee Donny mullet is good as gone. Their fan base won’t be able to handle that. But the talent gap is closing fast. Already Tennessee has three 5 stars on the OL. Darnell Wright wanya Morris and Cade Mays the transfer I think? He went to UT right? Anyways. Pruitt will close the talent gap but managing those divas is a skill of its own. Also gameday coaching. Has Pruitt proven he can even coach?

Not sure if it's a formula but the recruiting sites will adjust their ratings if a kid gets offers from major programs. A 3 star kid that gets an offer from Alabama almost always gets a bump.

True, because SUPPOSEDLY the star-rankings are supposed to reflect how heavily guys are being recruited, the stars are "not supposed to be" a definitive talent assessment, since it is nearly impossible for the Rivals/247 guys to see all of the HS players in person and in action.

If there were other programs offering besides Florida, I could certainly see the bump.

But to give a kid 3 stars just because a Gaytor coach is desperate is just a joke.

Speaking of jokes, how did things work out for Jovens Janvier? Did he ever get that overdue "Gaytor bump"?


EDIT: looks like Janvier landed at Tennessee State, another reason why "committing to the Gaytors" shouldn't just give a kid 3 stars.

Yeah, I agree. That’s why I sad of the offer was from Bama, Clemson or UGA, I could see it being a solid higher 3 star bc those teams consistently get the top players. I just don’t see it off of a UiF offer alone.

Right.

After the Janvier fiasco, I don't think a Gaytor verbal by an OL is an indication of anything. I still remember how Janvier continued to DROP in the rankings after committing to the Gaytor.

I don't know why they are wasting their time with Laurence Seymore, the Gaytors just locked down the OG position for the next 5 years with that 400 pound zero-star commit they just took.

I'm sure the Gaytor porsters will start talking about how Seymore is scurred to compete.

Fortunately for the Gaytors, Seymore won't be able to talk to Issiah Walker about how truthful and supportive Hevesy is.
