gainesville a bit better than tally but both aren't world class by any means. the only thing gainesville has going for itself is that it isnt ocala. also lol its 4.5 hours on a decent day from Gainesville to miami and thats not including where in miami youre going

Canesville and Tallanasty are both puny ****holes.

UF area around the campus is simply corporate mediocrity. It’s a poor man’s Raleigh. UF campus is weird and spread out. It’s like a city planner threw darts. Frat houses far from dorms, long walks to get anywhere. You can at least can have alcohol on campus unlike FSU.
FSU’s campus is nice if you like red bricks. Around the campus is horrific. Tennessee Street is like Bourbon Street without beads, hot chicks, good bars, or any historical vibe. It smells like warm beer/**** and there’s trash all over place. The “strip” looks like a bunch of foreclosed buildings awaiting to be torn down. You go a block north and there’s Frenchtown. It’s a great place to get robbed at gunpoint or buy a partially smoked crack rock.
