Now this thread is 377 pages long and we’ve seen some stupid and delusional sHT stated by this delusional fanbase...BUT....THIS JUST MIGHT BE THE STUPIEST THING EVER SAID THROUGHOUT THESE 377 PAGES.
I’ve said from the beginning that delusional fans are delusional and there’s no more delusional fans than UFAG fans....BUT.....this is a RETARDED statement made by someone that is in need of immediate psychiatric help!!!

That “U” on the helmet is one of the most recognizable emblems in CFB and unlike that “F” that they have which looks the same as the Fresno State “F” EVERYONE that has ever watched a CFB game and a ton of people that haven’t know what that “U” represents...

This is a great point.

You could go coast to coast in this great country, and if you put the U logo next to the F logo, I would bet that 90% of all people would recognize the U, and that 90% of non-Floridians would not know what the F stands for.

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Jarvis Jones’ situation gave Johnson even more hope. The Delray Beach native reached out and spoke to Jones, who was told his career was over after being diagnosed with spinal stenosis as a sophomore at Southern California.

Jones ended up transferring to Georgia and continuing his playing career before being selected by the Steelers with the 17th overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft. Has Johnson ever considered taking a similar route and transferring from Florida?

“It has never been a thought in my mind,” Johnson Sr. said. “If he would have gotten cleared to play (by another school), that might have been an option. Every school is different. Even if he did get cleared by another school, I really wouldn’t blame Florida for not clearing him to play because they actually saw firsthand what happened. No coach wants that on their conscious.”

Instead, Johnson will continue on the track that has him set to graduate from Florida in two years with a degree in sociology.

The sport is still in Johnson’s life, though. He has helped teach the Gators’ offensive line this season as a player-coach when school allows him to and he’s even considering coaching as an option after he graduates.

“I could see myself going to coach a high school team,” Johnson said. “But then again, I could see myself staying here and being with the coaching staff again. That’s just going to have to be a family decision.”

The unranked Gators want to play with a faster tempo when they host Texas A&M on Saturday night. McElwain’s offense averages 60.8 plays a game, which ranks next-to-last in the Southeastern Conference and 124th out of 129 teams in the Football Bowl Subdivision.

It’s hardly a surprise given that Florida (3-2, 3-1 SEC) is playing a redshirt freshman quarterback behind a mediocre offensive line, has two of its top playmakers suspended indefinitely and could be without big-play receiver Tyrie Cleveland (ankle) for the second consecutive game. Plus, quarterback Feleipe Franks has been benched twice and demoted once while failing to make the correct pre-snap adjustments, locking onto primary receivers and mostly ignoring the middle of the field.

Throw in the fact that the Gators are last in the league in third-down conversations, picking up a paltry 34.8 percent on the all-important downs, and it’s no wonder they can’t seem to stay on the field.

Who do they have that we can flip? Don't really want Corral (Malik Henry v.2) or Copeland for off field. Thornton might have blown his chance. Do we make a run at Dunlap? Their croot list isn't all that impressive.

You seem to have misunderstood. See, they're going to take all of our recruits because everybody wants to play for the gayters because they have an awesome program and their facilities are great and they have lots of people at their games and they have super-cool outfits and they're in the best conference and mac is about to turn this thing around any second now and they're dbu and they have a statue of danny tebow or something and what does Miami even have?
