This makes more sense, but how in the world did they get caught? Or if they did, how did it get out? I would think kids have been doing this forever and not getting in trouble.

Think of it like a company "P card" that you can only use to purchase specific items (ex: office supplies). Well they tried to use it to make purchases in unauthorized categories (probably electronics) so that they could just turn around & sell it for cash. The reason they got caught (I believe) is because they didn't have enough money on the cards and that probably red flagged whoever reconsiles the statements & realized what they were doing.

I just figured uf would have "dealt with it internally", I'm wondering how they let it get out to the public.

It now confirms with me that 247 has not only an sec bias but a gator. The fact that the suspensions are not on the front page of 247 after being reported less than 24 hours ago or the gators site is clear evidence. The biggest story to break in college football this Summer and 247 acting like cnn and acting like nothing happened. The miami suspensionslast season of aqm etc were on the front page for days.
 
Looks like OCCC was right in saying to hold off on the complaints about a 1 game suspension. These guys are out indefinitely...

Like I said from the very beginning, aside from the fraud/crime aspect of this, it is an impermissible benefits situation in which the UF compliance department (including lawyers) are in communication with the NCAA, even so much as seeking their guidance in terms of acceptable punishment.

The turds priority now is to stay out of the NCAA crosshairs, thereby consulting with them, and avoiding playing players that may later down the line be declared ineligible.

This is out of McSharkFvckers's hands, and it's the lawyers and compliance that are driving the bus. He's not determining the punishment, best case for him is having his opinion even heard.

After the last 7 years, we've all picked up a lot of how this works.

Been away for a minute b/c it was too much Cane on Cane violence in this piece and stumbled upon the best material I've seen in a while. UF pretending they're the good guys, innocent victims who are in compliance. And now white supremacy is invading their territory??? Yeah, go send ur kids there; where they can get arrested and/or lynched. Smh.
