Since I was the first to bring word of this to this thread/site, I hope this at least puts to rest any speculation that I'm a Gator troll.
No such luck.
We're watching you.

Hate to credit them but even the turds think that if it's just one game for Callaway that it's too lenient...

As someone already raised, last year, Jermaine Grace and AQM were kicked off the team for an impermissible benefit which did not involve criminal fraud. This is worse yet the justice is far less. I don't think that Grace or AQM had prior conduct issues either yet Callaway is still on the team.
1 game? lmao! what a joke of a school. our guys got thrown out of the school for less last year.
Yup... NCAA needs to step in. This is being driven by the coach giving out a slap on the wrist not compliance. Callaway is a multiple time offender in a variety of areas. How is he not gone?
Lack of institutional control, need to be bytch slapped by NCAA
Here we go. Nice approach...

Way to excuse keeping the guy. He needs to go to Last Chance U or try to catch on as a free agent. They have no viable excuse to keep him enrolled. He has multiple offenses. I hope the parents of recruits see this for what it is. Even Telfort got sucked in.
It could possibly be false report of a crime which isn't a felony in Florida. Either the players or the university would have to report the financial cards stolen via a police report and then law enforcement could take action. Not enough information available at this point.
Florida gonna Floriduh. Who cares
I didn't practice in this area of the law but it seems like Conspiracy, Fraud and Grand Larceny or attempted Grand Larceny. They schemed to get this stuff for free and took positive steps in the commission of the crime.

Retired cop from SoFla. If you could give me the basics of the story like where the credit cards came from and whose name they were in I could peg the charges easily. I worked credit card fraud and identity theft cases for a couple years as a defective!
Chalk up Michigan as an L for the gators.

It was gonna be an L regardless. The good news is now they have an excuse. I want shark fvcked there as long as possible.

To be fair, I think we were still under NCAA punishment.

They were issued UF credit cards for books etc. Instead, they used them to buy all kinds of electronics at Best Buy, then reported the cards stolen so they wouldnt have to pay.
Oh it felt like raindrops....so many raindrops...well it must have been raindrops.....falling from their eyes.......falling from their eyes...
A few on here might recognize this....
BJ Thomas... Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head?

We were. I thought of that after I posted but I still think that Richt either kicks these guys or at least gives them multi-game suspensions. Callaway has multiple offenses. Look what Richt did to Jovani Haskins and Sam Bruce. They're gone. Callaway has far exceeded those kids' offenses.
If that's the case then all you have is filing a false police report. The University can choose not to prosecute for credit card fraud. Either way it still falls under impermissible benefits by the bylaws of the NCAA.It could possibly be false report of a crime which isn't a felony in Florida. Depends on if the criminals/athletes reported the stolen cards to the university or to the police. Definitely some UFaG douche-baggery.
