There has to be a least one Gators fan who excels at Madden who would be willing to step up and take the OC role.

Mario: We could really see you being a major contributor at the University of Miami.

“Well Coach, I’m here to tell you that Coach Napier thinks that you would be an excellent assistant at Florida. He’s ready to offer you the third Offensive Line Coach position.”

That’s what Napier is after. How successful this effort will be is up for debate.

I can imagine that this could be the initial claim - “dude didn’t want to play in a real conference like the SEC”. And then after a moment they realize that Texas and OU will be in the SEC next year.

Lol they really think he’s just going to tailgate as a fan with free tickets. Texas isn’t dumb.

Themnot being able to talk to him is funny to me. I’ve seen it firsthand, albeit it years ago. I’m good friends with Xavier Lee from back home. When he was being recruited we went to the UF FSU game that year in the swamp cuz he got tickets from UF. It was an unofficial but we were in the recruiting area, got food, escorted on the field pregame coaches were coming up to him right and left. Zook came up to him for 10-15 mins, heck even the FSU caches came across the field pregame to talk to him and say hi. The UF host kept trying to get the FSU coaches to leave.

I was wearing my UM hat and kept getting told to take it off or I wouldn’t be allowed to stay, X was wearing a Texas hat lol. At one point I told the lady to relax, me wearing a UM hat isn’t influencing your recruits and it’s not my fault you guys blew a lead against us this year. 2003 comeback game that year. She just glared and let it go.

One of the many reasons I can’t stand UF and their complex.

For real they expect the coaches from both teams to just wave hello from the sideline?

I think there’s a legit chance Etienne is gone after this year.

Their family hasn’t hid their disdain for the situation there currently, and he’d probably get a bigger bag to transfer than he would from where he gets drafted.
