Jameis actually had arm talent, though. Fit balls into tight windows up the seams. Threw guys open.We will see, he had a very good game and his passing while way better than expected was all world. He has a good arm and made some accurate throws. The only things I’m having flash backs of is Jameis and how we all kept discrediting his performance week after week til he was in NY lifting a Heisman. Not saying that’s what happens here but we as fans have a way of distorting things we don’t want to be true. Kid played way way better than any of us expected against Utah.
If Richardson's best/most consistent throw is that little 4 yard drag route (which is pretty much all I saw him complete after I got home at the start of the second half) - the only way he gets to NY is if the Jets draft him as a TE in the 5th round.
7 yards/attempt, no touchdowns, maybe 3 completions +10 yards downfield, 1/4 on 3rd and 8+. That is not a Heisman QB. Gritty/gutsy win against a "top 10 team" notwithstanding. Maybe he was just taking what Utah gave him. And, it's possible that he does drastically improve and puts a lot more NFL-type throws on tape. But, being as objective as possible, based on Saturday alone, I don't see it.
