Let's ******* eat

Zuniga would probably have to play DT here. He's not explosive off the edge and he's stiff. He does what Grantham wants him to do well though. He's a two gap, 3-4 end that can beat guards one on one with his pass rush but is not athletic enough to make an impact as an outside rusher. Maybe he'd get moved out side on short yardage scenarios.

Not an ideal matchup for us. Zions biggest ? has to be his strength. I think we’d prefer him to be up against a speed rusher

Zion will most often be matched up with their rush linebacker. Zuniga's go to move is to "shock" his man with quick hands to the chest. He has very good punch and often stuns opponents initially. It works good in run defense because it creates space and allows him to play two gaps. On pass rush, it's less effective because he doesn't change his momentum very quickly. Even if he gets a good punch on his man, it takes him an extra second to redirect his movement toward the QB.

The difference is our freshman LT is actually GOOD ENOUGH to beat out our other, more senior, options at Tackle. Your freshman Tackle is going to play bc your idiot coach doesn’t know how to manage a roster.View attachment 93438
dudes a moron you are forced to use a Freshman T, that had no idea he was going to have to play. where our freshman T has been with the ones since spring and going against our DL everyday preparing to play. Huge difference

Good luck trying to shock Donaldson and scaife with that shock business. Big D will eat him with power and Scaife will eat him with athleticism.

This is spot on. I still think he is a very talented player though but not very twitchy and gets by with some very strong and heavy hands
