Garin Justice is off to a great start!

It’s encouraging.... having a coach that seems competent at an aspect of his job. “****, I’ve been down so long. That it looks like up to me.”

Most Barry and Searles have done combined

He has definitely done a better job recruiting and bringing a renewed energy to the OL. He seems to have the personality to go along with the experience to really make vast improvements. I am not one to fully blame our OL woes on our two previous OL coaches. I actually liked Searles knowledge of the game. I believe our OL struggles are more related to complacency and lack of motivation than talent. Now that we seem to be really stacking more talent (competition) Justice’s challenge will be to find kids who want to be great. That are willing to do the things that will make them great. I think many of these kids are just happy to be a part of the U. They don’t aspire to be great and build on the legacy. Justice needs to get their buy-in by challenging them. Ask each and every one of our OL, who wants to be an All-American? Who wants to get drafted in the first round? Who is willing to put in the effort? You go to battle with the ones who not only answer affirmative but respond in kind in everything they do. It is really that simple.

I love posts like these. Should we be upset about getting King, Roche, a legit kicker all of whom have won major awards? Should we be upset with landing a top 10 class with the addition of Walker? Should we be upset with Manny admitting his mistake with Enos and going out and getting one of the top young spread OC’s?

And I loves these hype lovin’ rebuttals🤣. We
had more talent than Duke, FIU and LaTech and still lost. Until Manny is fired expect more of the same and if you don’t believe me just listen to Manny on Joe Rose when Mandy coppin’ pleas with “It starts with me” then blame everybody in Dade county for his wows.

Hail King Lanshee we goin’ win da Coastal

None of this matters if we still play soft. Yes, all the things you mentioned are positives. If it doesn't equal wins, it won't matter. Manny was more than a little over his head last year, and making no brainer off season moves doesn't make him a good coach. It means he knows he's on a short leash, and the school will write checks to get him a decent staff.

Shall we revisit all the "savage" moves from last season, and see exactly how they helped him in 2019?

Just win and all is forgiven.

To be fair, until we have to wash again it wont be a repeat. I'm in the camp of he doesn't have it but he **** sure does try. If this season turns out to be another wash it'll be more than obvious he doesn't have it. With the cards he's holding, anything less than a corstal crown and a game with clemson should get him fired imo. Justice turning into a show card is a good thing!
