Garcia and the freshmen WR working in IPF

Well no **** Sherlock.

Just don't tell me how hard you're working in the middle of our indoor facility, yet you still have time to talk about that hard work after dreaming up the post.

Do the work, post whatever after.

I like this kid, think he's the future, but I would have them dumping their phones into a bin on the way into any athletic building. You want to work, work. Leave the distractions outside.

I about slapped the phone out of a kids hands in my dugout on Wednesday. I couldn't even believe that crap in the middle of a game. Laps and gassers after practice for everyone since I shouldn't have had to tell anyone that and they're all accountable for one another.
Get over yourself. Times have changed. This is 2021. Kids are excelling to professional leagues while maintaining a Social Media presence.

You sound like someone unable to change with the times. More than one way to skin a cat. And if ANY coach slaps my kid phone out of his hand that will be his last time slapping a phone out of any kids hand. I'd show him what 20 years in the Marines taught me.

lmao, guy records a 7 second video on his buddy’s phone during a voluntary workout and we got alleged grown men in here crying about it.

he didnt even post it himself, by the way. for all we know that was just a video message he was sending to some other players and romello decided to post it to twitter

Unable to change with the times? Is your dumb jar head *** too stupid to realize I said they shouldn't be doing it in our facilities? There's a time and a place. Saying how you're grinding, but yet you have the time to think to make a post on whatever, that means you're not focused. You're thinking of dumb **** at the wrong time.

Imagine doing that in boot camp, basic, or anywhere out on patrol, assignment, etc.

It would've been the wrong move to slap it out of the kids hand, but it doesn't mean the thought wasn't there immediately. I'd expect a parent to say something, but 20 years in the Marines, you're still not stepping to me. I'm a big *** in shape former D1 OL, but who knows, maybe you would.

These guys aren’t at practice or at a supervised workout. They are putting in their own time to voluntarily workout. Are they not allowed to touch their phone while they take a break or grab some water? Does that mean they’re somehow not serious or not focused? Maybe they shouldn’t take water breaks or even talk to each other at all. You’re making this out to be a bigger deal than it is. You can work your *** off and have fun for 30 seconds during a break.

I don't give a fvck who you are, how much you weigh or where you've played. I'm 6'8 about 270 ripped, but that doesn't even matter. You slap my kids phone out of his hand and I'll drop you where you stand.

I don’t know about the rest of you but I’ll gladly concede that these two King Kongian behemoths could slap the shît out of my cell phone and neither I nor my cell phone would say anything but “thank you, Sir, may we please have another?”
