Not sure if this is in a different thread, but with King out this week Garcia needs to start. from what I saw in the spring game he is polished and has the “it” factor. Real blue chipper. May be a slight exaggeration, but he has to be the pick over Van Dyke.

A quarterback controversy is EXACTLY what Diaz needed. If he's smart (he isn't) he'll answer every reporter's question about the freshman QBs and take attention away from himself.

If nothing else this game should be about as good a way to ease them in to running an offense. I hope Lashlee plans to utilize each of their strengths and not have some “one size fits all” offensive plan.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see a lot of the RBs.

Oh cis crowning a star off spring ball….against our defense which sux. Classic that someone would crown Garcia based off a performance against this dumpster fire defense. great op, how anyone can say with certainty that Garcia is better than tvd or Vice versa based off the limited sample size is why we deserve manny Diaz.

TVD struggles, game is closer than it should be, Garcia gets a series at the end to hand it off to burn the clock. Post game presser, they've got guys on scholarship too and TVD persevered leading the team to a victory in his first start in what was a tough week without his leader King.
