Listen to his post game interview with ACCN. He talked about the film and all the tendencies they saw. he also said he checked out of more than a couple of called pass plays to run plays because of their defensive alignments.

This is why you need an experienced QB. Real field experience and someone who knows how to watch film. Not just a guy with an arm.........

The biggest negative I didn't like was some of the plays right before half with the jet and then the shot to the endzone instead of trying to pick up 10-15 on that 3rd and 20 which would have put us back in FG range after that Sack.

That TD play was great. I didn't have a problem with some of the banging our head into the wall stuff cause I felt we were just gunna have to eat some.

But yeah well called game, and most importantly Beck hit the throws that we needed or actually picked up the yards needed on the scrambles. ALL year every 3rd down sramble I **** you not he'd get tackled 1-2 yards short. This game he flicked the truck stick to pick them up. and one was a horrendous review that got called back that was complete and utter bs!

But thank ******* lord he's finally using Pistol, I've been on my soap box about that being by far the best for us to run out of for 2 years now!

You weren't the only one. Water under the bridge. After SMU, Dawson stopped being a smug SOB and has been money. I never stopped being a fan of his even during his dyckish responses to the media guys asking about his reliance on the A gap. He sometimes thinks he's the smartest guy in the room. But despite his failings, he's a **** good OC. Very happy he's our OC.
 
Most critical to me was that he finally took on some DB's in the scramble game. The diving and sliding doesnt turn the trick in the playoff. Beck ran strong tonight.

Big facts! I was texting my boy about it after the drive. We got a first on it and gave the defense a breather, but, more importantly, our defense saw our QB putting it all on the line. That stuff hits. When you think you're giving all you can and you see that, you think to yourself, I can do more, and we got the stop on their very next drive.
