So who you thinking of?@sms4, this is the type of game that I was talking about where we need to get those arms who haven't pitched much some innings
Any of the lefties in the pen tbh, I can't remember the last time Evans or Fernandez got looks. Also a guy like Cleveland would be nice to get going too considering he had the stuff to be our opening closerSo who you thinking of?
I agree with sending him back out in this sense: he’s seemed to start to tire around 70 pitches, and JD has had a relatively quick hook, so an 8-1 lead is great opportunity to build up his pitch count.Love Ciscar, but this is the type of game where you need to get other arms besides the typical bunch some looks. If we're gonna do anything in the postseason we need more arms to rely on
Now that he’s done, I’m ready to fire my hot take: Ciscar has been our best starter since he entered the rotation.
Love the kid's body language - he exudes alpha male without the ****iness.Ciscar just gets everyone to hit the ball on the ground.
I’d assume Hugus is still the consensus, unless my take is considerably colder than I thinkGriffin (Karl) Hungus is pretty good too, but you make a fair point.
Definitely doesn’t look like a Frosh starting Saturdays. Tonight you could argue was our biggest game in a minute as well. Agree with scane and will add that his 91 with wiggle > 93 “straight” imo.Love the kid's body language - he exudes alpha male without the ****iness.
I agree with everything you said minus the 93 straight part, Hugus' 93 plays like 98 with his rpm's which is why scouts are all over him. So when he has the revs on it hes elite, when he doesnt it looks like yesterday where he got hit aroundDefinitely doesn’t look like a Frosh starting Saturdays.
