I know it’s asking a lot from a guy who has no idea what he’s doing, but when you have a guy on the ropes and let him off and he finds a groove again, you call time and slow him down. JD just stares off into space. That was a pivotal inning to get to him and the kid just rolled the top of the order and got his confidence back.
