Game 30: Virginia Tech 4/3/26. 19-1 W (23-7)

Not impressed. We have an inflated record. Played a bunch of schools I didn’t even know had a baseball team. Haven’t been able to take a series against good teams. And I don’t think we have the pitching to make it to Omaha. But I’ll take the W. Just need more W’s against the better teams.

I'm not sure there is a role for DeRias on this team the rest of season. Especially with Menendez and Robert coming back .
Every opportunity he has been given it hasn't worked out. I would invest in the young guys like Drummond and Peralta.

Honest question are you sure the schedule that different? because it feel like you’re only basing it on the series before UF and honestly it was about the same caliber of acc teams.

Feel like he doesn’t watch ball. BC and Duke are not bad at all. Yeah they lost the Boston College Game but even then; game 1 I believe was very winnable.

Yes I don’t watch ball….. I’m just not watching it like a homer… I can be honest and see the flaws.“BC and Duke Are Not bad” you say ?And what are we bad because we lost both series…….

There at least 11 teams on that schedule I don’t think MDCC baseball would lose to. We are 6-6 in the ACC
Lost the series to 6-8 Duke, 4-8 Clemson and a better team in 9-6 BC. With one ACC series against a 6-9 Va-Tech… we are average at best. Not where Miami baseball should be……

24-8 and we aren’t even ranked!!!!! That tells you all you need to know….. Because 11 of those wins were against the blind sisters of Guadalupe.The only ranked team we played at the time were the gators and we went 0-2. So please what meaningful game or series have we taken from anyone with a pulse……. End of conversation.
