Columbia can really hit. 15+ hits their last four games. Hugus had better have another pitch working besides his fast all today.

IIRC they haven’t lost in almost a month either. They’re a solid club

Most important game of a regional. I’d rather never have to find out who our fifth starter would have been.

We had this exact discussion during that Gainesville regional we choked away. We were talking about following the Rays formula. Opener in front of Rosario and using your high leverage guys for high leverage situations no matter the inning bc much like this year we didn’t have the pitching depth to not be sitting 2-0.

Let’s pray for a different result than what we got that year.

Their schedule is a joke. It's college baseball, so anything can happen in one game with aluminum bats, but this is a great match up.

Southern Miss will be out of arms by sunday night.

Yep, and I'm pretty sure they put low limits on the max wager given the dearth of information on it, compared to football and basketball. And using oddsmakers last night, you'd have lost your a** if you were betting favorites.

You can purchase tickets on Stubhub.The Canes Section tonight will be Section B or F. I would recommend buying one of the regular bleacher seats in sections A-F. Do not buy the GA Standing room. Horrible, horrible seats. Bleachers or Chair backs only.

I think Alabama has more depth. Southern Miss has good front end pitching, but I don't know who will be left Sunday night.

So i'm hoping Alabama loses.

Terrible at bat for Alabama to get their second out. O-2 count and had to know the pitcher was gonna throw junk. Kid swung anyway and struck out. Southern Miss returns the favor by walking the next batter to load the bases.
