President Echevarria might have something to say about that when the time comes, i.e. he's a huge baseball fan who, obviously, also loves the University and ran a large international organization.

He strikes me as a results-oriented, servant leader. Thus, it's hard for me to see him allowing it to sink into oblivion.

Whatever. If you think Joe Echevarria is going to let someone's "drinking buddies" make decisions about how his university and its athletic programs are funded, I've got some land in south Louisiana to sell you. The previous Prez apparently had no interest in athletics ... this one does.

I guess we'll find out in a few months if the current product on the field doesn't improve drastically.

Not really trying to pile on, but didn't JD also say that BC outplayed us?

Final record will be somewhere between 28 and 30 wins. That won’t be good enough to get in. If they cannot beat bc, they will be food for any other team with a pulse starting tomorrow night at ucf.

That is fair rok. He did say that but that also makes him look even more ridiculous. You can’t fit both of those quotes into a post game presser. “They outplayed us. Followed by a we have only beaten ourselves this year. We haven’t been beat.”…. Especially when Bc did everything in their power to give us that series as they aren’t a good ball club either
