I truly can’t wait for this program to be burned down and start all over again. It’s the only way
President Echevarria might have something to say about that when the time comes, i.e. he's a huge baseball fan who, obviously, also loves the University and ran a large international organization.He will never be fired, the athletic director has no control over the hiring or firing of baseball. Apparently it’s a few boosters that fund the baseball program that control it. So we’re stuck in irrelevancy forever.

He strikes me as a results-oriented, servant leader. Thus, it's hard for me to see him allowing it to sink into oblivion.
