Gaillard sets visit next week...

I doubt Treon comes here from what I've heard. Not for making guesses but I would say Florida if I had to pick.

Or Auburn, and I doubt it has to do with us offering him late. I think he sees earlier playing time and a better fit offense at other places.

I would say that I think its more than just a remote chance. I think there is a possbility here. I also think it speaks VOLUMES about his prospect as a starting QB, as I have long doubted. If this kid was going to be the messiah at QB, FSU would be all over him. They dont seem to be bending over backwards with him taking all these visits now and talking to other coaches. I get the feeling that he's looking around because he's not feeling the "love" from FSU like he was before.
 
Maybe staff thinks Rosier can play safety if need be. Unlike Highsmith, I believe Rosier played safety in HS as well.

LOL. I guess it depends on how realistic Treon is. If Treon remains a long shot after his OV, I keep Rosier. I agree though if you are going to totally shaft a kid, make it a kid from OOS, not a local.

Auburn would match Treons skill set at Qb, unlike the guy they had at qb this year......Treon can pass. Perfect fit .

If I remember correctly, his coach came on here and posted that Gaillard was experiencing sever back problems during the week leading up to the UA game and was not even scheduled to play in the game but gave it a go on gameday...

Back problems make me even more nervous. I was just really going by what I saw of him in practice. He had no real explosion off the line, even looking at his tape, the kid just bullrushes and has no technique. He only gets away with it because he was bigger than everyone else. He kinda reminds of our old DT, Briscoe. Furthermore, I would like to see him lower his pad level and work getting better leverage, but he is gonna have to get stronger for that. He should be redshirted, if we do take him. Valentine on the other hand, is a grown war daddy at 18. The drop off between these two is bigger than most realize.

He was having bad back problems throughout the entire week. It affected his play during the practices. I think his coach even said that he had to sit out quite a bit. You should probably give this guy a pass on hi UA performances.

"take him"? Given our depth chart, we're going to be beggging for him to commit.

It absoultely blows that we have appeared to have lost Valentine.

The fact that we have a visit with him set up leads me to believe the staff knows Valentine aint coming.... ****!

Come on, man. We should have been on Treon from the beginning. We offered Rozier and did not offer Treon? That has nothing but fail written all over it.

Understood. But this kid is the all world best QB in the history of Florida according to some here. And 2 of the top 3 in state schools did NOT offer him as a QB until late. And the one that did, which everyone has been d*ck riding all this time as having gotten the greatest steal of all time, for some reason now, seem to have done something to cause Treon to start looking around. I mean this kid went from Mr. Super FSU commit recruiting everyone up there, and laughing at considering anyone else, to now taking trips all over and having "legitimate interest" in other programs. Maybe Jimbo hasnt exactly been treating him like hes the GOAT QB to come out of Florida. Why else would he be looking around being committed to the defending National Champions and supposedly being their "prized" Qb recruit?
