So say others. Supposedly he's now definitely scheduled to come next weekend.

Dont know why, but I keep reading that this kid doesnt seem to be digging the new staff at UGA.

Would be a **** of a pick up to make up for TV. Would feel a lot better if he didnt have that **** UGA tattoo though.

If he comes balls in our court for the steal. UGA was ****y as **** that he wasnt coming and there were those reports after the in home with Richt and hyping up Rocker. Now if he comes then he wasnt sold and then to me Um has the chance to blow him away

It can easily be redone especially with a U tattoo
 
Where's his coach at? Feed us....


Pete, is our staff willing to take both TV and this kid at this point, or is he a replacement for TV (a **** good replacement)?

I dont think you say no to this kid regardless of what TV does. We still have other kids with offers out, so if he pulls the trigger, and for some miraculous reason TV does too, we just shut down any other WRs. Probably would only take JC Jackson, or maybe a Bo Scarborough at that point. We also might even not hit Treon as hard. Recruit him but play the old "hey we understand that Auburn is a better fit for you" and you dont go all out for him.

I would glady trade Treon for two elite DTs.

If Valentine leaves, I suppose we have to take this kid, but I'm kinda lukewarm on him. I watched this kid get handled by Darling at the UA game and struggle to get off blocks. He was struggling in a one gap scheme. Now he's gonna come here and play in a scheme that sucks for defensive tackles and ask him to take on two olinemen and control two gaps? I don't know. He also didn't seem particularly strong as I would like for NT\DT. JMO.

If I remember correctly, his coach came on here and posted that Gaillard was experiencing sever back problems during the week leading up to the UA game and was not even scheduled to play in the game but gave it a go on gameday...

LOL. I guess it depends on how realistic Treon is. If Treon remains a long shot after his OV, I keep Rosier. I agree though if you are going to totally shaft a kid, make it a kid from OOS, not a local.

Correct, I read this also. The kid was playing hurt at the UA game.

i would hope they don't shaft rosier regardless of what happens. he just visited here and seems to really be excited. its the last week of the cycle. that would be brutal.

I never worry about numbers. Always works out. I am not confident we get any of them, but I am confident that if they all want in, they all get in --- the class, not the school before the admissions police siren in.

Back problems make me even more nervous. I was just really going by what I saw of him in practice. He had no real explosion off the line, even looking at his tape, the kid just bullrushes and has no technique. He only gets away with it because he was bigger than everyone else. He kinda reminds of our old DT, Briscoe. Furthermore, I would like to see him lower his pad level and work getting better leverage, but he is gonna have to get stronger for that. He should be redshirted, if we do take him. Valentine on the other hand, is a grown war daddy at 18. The drop off between these two is bigger than most realize.

Worse for you --- Rosier gets left out and he is sad or Treon gets left out and there is Board Outrage and Community upheaval?
