GABOS

Richards had 934 yards out of the 3,532 Kaaya threw that year. Good for 26.4%

Toney has 844 out of 2,805 for Beck so far good for 30%

Not sure about IrvinG

Thru G12 Toney has 970 yds...

His 84 receptions were most in the country for any receiver without a dropped pass.

To recap the context...

Irving sat as a true Frosh in '84 and played RSF '85 in 11 games (10 reg, 1 Bowl) w/ 840 yds (extrapolated to 12 for 916 yds)

Richards played as true Frosh in '16 in 13 games (12 reg, 1 Bowl) w/ 934 yds (extrapolated to 12 for 870 yds)

Not even considering his PR, Rushes, and Pass Attempts, hard to argue against Toney being the greatest frosh WR in UM history to date.

Congrats young man!

Obviously in new territory that no Hurricane player has ever seen in a single season...

Thru G15 has 99 rec for 1,089 yds...

Toney is on pace for 106 rec for 1,162 yds thru G16 to close out the season.

Although not impossible, difficult to see how another true frosh WR (ANY WR!) has a full season like him. One could argue any player, at any position, would have difficulty matching his overall impact to the team this year.
