It’s a hard fact. College football having some G5 team be part of this playoff and taking an automatic spot is ludicrous.

UCF and Cincinnati had a good run a few years ago but using them as “We must include a G5 team” is the college football equivalent of DEI.

Only a real solid, undefeated G5 team that has a solid resume should only be considered on that merit for the playoff.

P4 teams shouldn’t be losing a spot to a G5 unless they are some kind of special team that EARNS it on the field. Not just award a spot to include them.

Bruh just rank the best 12 or 25, or what ever the **** number of teams you feel the playoffs should be.. this SEC and Big10 gets most of the spots **** is stupid.

These conferences not named SEC and Big10 should ban together and sue ESPN, NCAA and what ever entity is over this stupid ****.

Those doing the rankings know exactly what they are doing as well to help the SEC.

Oklahoma all do a sudden played a ranked team today. They get teams ranked at the right time.

Facts!

Let's be real. If you're the 12th best team in the country, you really don't "deserve" to be in the running for the national championship, anyway. Before a couple years ago, all these 2-loss teams would have been completely out of the picture. Might as well let a smaller program have a shot at a cinderella run.

**** that.

College football is way different now.

There isn’t much separating the 12 team from the top 4 teams. A few bounces here and there or bad officials calls separates the teams with the transfer portal, NIL, etc.

There is no Cinderella run. It’s an *** kicking and an easy game for whomever plays them. Look at Boise State last year.
