Future Schedules

Went to Michigan at the big house last year, excited about MSU.

A&M was great last time, they gave us the best road game seats I've ever been to. But now they aren't as good anymore, but it should still be fun.

And I'll keep going to ND until I can celebrate a win there

Miami should continue to scheduling more big name programs. It’s what helped build this program in the 70’s and 80’s.
We were also an independent as were several of those schools we used to play. It's just not like that anymore the landscape has changed too much with every program playing 8-9 conference games and wanting a few cupcakes at home for wins and money. It pretty much leaves 1 possible slot most seasons for a decent non conference game.

We can add 2 OOC good games. 2021 we are doing it with Bama and MSU. We’ve done it in the past plenty of times with FSU and another big name.

Before noles went to acc, there was Miami, PSU, ND and FSU as a core of independent power schools. That was basically better than any conference. There were others like BYU but those four had to be dealt with on the road to any title. The old tv deal was controlled by ncaa an the number of games were limited. We were almost always on so other teams were more likely to schedule us so they could be on the basically weekly Hurricane show.

When was the last time it happened before the year of Bama and MSU which hasn't happened yet? Why Richt signed us up to be sacrificial lambs to Bama in the heart of sec country I have no idea, but we are mandated to play fsu every year by the ACC. It's not just something we do for ***** & giggles. They are part of our ACC schedule. Mich St that year? Great. Maybe even Bama that year on their own? Okay. But in this day and age there's nothing to gain by playing both in 1 year. This isn't a Miami fact. It's a reality college football fact.

Can we go ahead and add ND to ACC w WVU and play those **** last game every year?

Pitt can play WVU last game every year

Everyone is happy

/even happier if we can trade Loserville for UK

Seriously. What a horrible knee jerk reaction to add Louisville to ACC.

I have to disagree. There is no pro team here so the city treats the Cardinals as their pro team. The bags may not be as big here but they have plenty of them. Tom Jurich was a shady dude but he was one of the best AD's in America and once they got rid of him, they took a hit.

Also Louisville was added to the ACC not bc of football but bc they are a basketball school.
