We were also an independent as were several of those schools we used to play. It's just not like that anymore the landscape has changed too much with every program playing 8-9 conference games and wanting a few cupcakes at home for wins and money. It pretty much leaves 1 possible slot most seasons for a decent non conference game.Miami should continue to scheduling more big name programs. It’s what helped build this program in the 70’s and 80’s.

We can add 2 OOC good games. 2021 we are doing it with Bama and MSU. We’ve done it in the past plenty of times with FSU and another big name.
When was the last time it happened before the year of Bama and MSU which hasn't happened yet? Why Richt signed us up to be sacrificial lambs to Bama in the heart of sec country I have no idea, but we are mandated to play fsu every year by the ACC. It's not just something we do for ***** & giggles. They are part of our ACC schedule. Mich St that year? Great. Maybe even Bama that year on their own? Okay. But in this day and age there's nothing to gain by playing both in 1 year. This isn't a Miami fact. Plus, best way to ensure live game turnout in Sofla.Miami should continue to scheduling more big name programs. It’s what helped build this program in the 70’s and 80’s.
wow, lol...spoken like a true politician. A pussified one, but definitely a politician. When was the last time it happened before the year of Bama and MSU which hasn't happened yet? Pitt can play WVU last game every year
Everyone is happy
/even happier if we can trade Loserville for UK
Seriously. What a horrible knee jerk reaction to add Louisville to ACC.
