I think we have 3 future studs with HARRISON-HUNTE Blisset and Miller. 4 possibly with Holley. Is Todd Stroud the right man to develop them? Falcons have struggled this Season and will probably clean house after season. Injuries on defense have made Jess Simpson job difficult. Falcons pass rush has regressed dramatically. If Simpson is available should we bring him back? I thought he did a great job at developing inside pass rush last season.

Most times it’s about the Jim’s and joes not the xs n os..so for stroud or any line coach it starts with evaluations..all the guys we pulled are legit

We've had the best Run Defense we've had in the Diaz era this season...

And with the emergence of Rousseau, Ford, Nesta & Miller, I don't see how yall are so critical of Stroud. The DLine has been the strongest unit on our team this season.

We have 25 sacks & 51TFL's on the season, that's pretty **** good. Plus you have to factor in how much play calling affects the performance of the DL's, I mean Baker has had our most dynamic pass rushers dropping back in coverage on multiple plays & we for whatever reason are always going with 3-man fronts on 3rd down only rushing 3.

I do agree that Simpson is a much better DL coach than Stroud, I'm not arguing that, I'm just saying on Defense they're not the issue this season.

The heat needs to be on Banda, Baker, Patke & Rumph more so than Stroud IMO.

Coach stroud is doing a real solid job, its obvious that bethel and ford were never going to be the best pass rushing d-tackles but they definitely have done a real good job against the run. We need the linebackers to start cleaning up more. Stopping the run is the main thing and coach recruits like coach stroud. To many people are to quick to write off a good coach, you can see the coach stroud affect, while people are talking about the 3 freshmen, dont forget, i highly doubt they'll be beating out jordan miller while he's here, he's more proof of coach strouds work. I like how we were able to build our d-tackle room back up some, being able to redshirt those guys, and if health holds up, being able to have ford, nesta and miller in front of them will help them develop even more. We got alot of d-linemen redshirting which is goodd to see, i believe the decision has been made to redshirt Jahfari harvey, we already got cam williams redshirting, rousseau redshirted by default which i was always glad he had too. This program will not get where it should be reallying on to many freshmen.

When your nickname is "noodles" why you not redshirting, he should actually still redshirt this year if he could and if he knew what was best for em. But the selfish minded will be allowed to keep playing so they hurry up and graduate and be gone. One things for certain, coach diaz is doing a real good job in the amount of redshirts we have in the whole this year,on both sides of the ball.

Another coach that was a good hire has been taylor stubblefield, you can see the technical development of our wideouts, and they still do a solid job of blocking, anytime receivers dont get called for holding, that's a good sign. The runningbacks coach has done a solid job as well, so ****inson, stubblefiel and stroud were above average hires, the jury is still out on coach barry, his oc not helping em that's for sure, but i can see the progression, coach patake is definitely the weak link along with the coordinators, but i do appreciate coach bakers honesty, he knows he has to get better. He's actually not that aggressive and needs to stop being that obvious on defense! He definitely doesnt force qb's to play from their weaknesses!

The TFL are on pace to be the worst under Diaz by a mile though

Rousseau 8 sacks, the interior d lineman are playing to the best of their ability. Garvin is missing a penetrating tackle next to him like he had his freshman and sophomore years to help his production
Rousseau is a freak and would make anyone look like a good coach.
