Funny feeling about this Nauta situation...

Calls other people newbies. But then speaks in absolutes when it comes to recruiting.

Oh you gotta love it.

Nothing to see here. Sounds more like I join my buddy (QB) whose with his buddy (LB) and try and get my buddy (QB) an offer. The article on Rivals which is an interview with (QB) suggests that if QB gets an offer he can almost guarantee Nauta commits.

Sounds like early stage negotations of package deal. The kid (QB) is okay but TRUST ME not Miami caliber at all.

Been a lot of years since Harbaugh threw a pass. Does Michigan have a QB? If kid it smart he sees, "dang that Kaaya guy sure makes his TEs look good." We are not floating Golden out there any more. Mark is a serious offensive coach too. If any of ole St Bobby's closing skills rubbed off on him, we got a shot here. Lot of NFL TEs came though THE U and those days look like they are coming back.

I believe one or both of his parents are from Michigan too. I know most people will slurp Harbaugh but kids really should wonder if he'll even be in Ann Arbor for more than like 2 more years. The NFL is going to go after him every year and you know it burns his *** that his brother won a Super Bowl and he hasn't.

Recruiting is about relationships and comfort level.

Richt and Lilly have the relationship piece down, but this kid knows **** about our current class, roster, or campus.

He's not coming here. It'll be one of those instances in which Miami lands "near the top".
 
He's not going to be the only guy devwah Whaley talks to cmr everyday(reported by rivals) and shyheim carter is extremely interested(per 247sports) ESPN recruiting insiders talked to shaver manuel and he said he'll listen and richt reportedly had conversations with not only malek young but also Benjamin victor and trayvon Mullen as well when he visited coconut creek high so he could potentially bring in a big class
 
If we could close with Young, Carter, Becker, Richards, Bethel, Reese, Tatum, 2 DTs and another WR I'd be happy.
 
I didn't watch IMG games this year, but I assume that most of their offensive players have low numbers because their is so much talent. When you have Greene, nauta, etc. running routes everyone's numbers will go down a bit.

I don't think we get nauta unless Lilly (if he comes) and richt pull off a remarkable finish.

Because in another tread on the same topic someone was in there who said he's friends with another highly touted recruit from IMG and he told him that he's really interested because richt was here and a lot of his family are canes fans and UknowWhat on the Thread official visit said the same thing. Plus Georgia was considered his favorite after his decommitment from fsu. Seriously though I wanna read the article

Just got a text from a friend of mine who is a Michigan fan and he said "congrats on Nauta" he's on MGoBlue blog and they are saying that Nauta is staying own south and all signs point to Miami

Interesting you say that; got an annoying Frat Brother who's a U Mich alum and stays very active around the athletic program who just text me bout 30 mins ago, "you fake UM b***hes can have that primadonna Nauta; we're moving on."

In know way am I saying he has inside knowledge and it could very well b that he just got his info on one of the Big Blue Chat Boards.

Also, early today, randomly came across this guy at work who proudly wore this old school Miami t-shirt. So I approached him (being that I'm in Cali, I don't get to talk to too many U fans). So we started chatting. Long story short, he starts bragging about Mark being his bff, and that he graduated in 1983 and he and Mark had several classes together, he was the better looking of the two, blah, blah blah. He then goes, "trust me young man, when I talked to him shortly after he came home, he said, 'I'm going after the big ones and locking home back up the way it used to be.'"

Gave me chills b/c dude was so intense with the story and then he starts showing me photos in his phone of them back in the day and bout 5 yrs ago.

I think the pessimism we had going on here for years will start changing....doesn't mean we'll get everyone, but I think we start keeping the fence on lock and key again.

One last thing he said that had me dying; he said "what the **** is with them feathers on the jerseys?! We wear stripes on our leaves, not some flamingo feathers!"
