Did you want Fuente? I didn't and I don't see how this is a big deal. Great hire for them if true but this doesn't mean **** to us.

It doesn't really have anything to do with Fuente, it's simply the fact that one of our rival schools is already moving and has a plan (I will qualify that this is reported only and not fact) while all we hear about from our media is the search committee and that POS Cristobal that every talking head is shilling.

But I will attempt to be patient if it nets us a guy like Chip Kelly.

They're hiring the guy who developed Andy Dalton into an NFL QB, and has developed an unknown QB prospect from Florida into a potential 1st round NFL draft pick at Memphis!

He's also had Memphis ranked in the top 25 the past 2 seasons, won 10 games last year, is about to go to his 2nd consecutive bowl game, beat a ranked SEC team, and has made Memphis football relevant in his 1st 4 years as a college HC.

That's a pretty good background, to me.

My brother is a chokie. He's got a paid subscription at TSL and there sources are reporting that Bud Foster and Torian Gray are staying. Idk if its true but that would be excellent news for them if it is

This hiring means nothing for us if we get the type of coach we should be getting.

If we end up with Strong, Schiano, Chud, Wario, Kingsbury, etc then this is a problem.
