Yeah well our time has come and is still here. At least it can be argued that FSU's administration actually gives a **** about football. The same can't be said in Coral Gables.
What up Canezum & mac jones WHO mac jones, back than they didnt want em now they all em. But yeah man, this team is in good hands, i knew desparation had set in a while back when they names jones and mahoney as 2 of the starting guards, and they only did it because they were physically seasoned players and they didnt want to risk the young guns getting injured out there going against that caliber of d-line, as the season progresses i can see jobs being taken.
The skill position guys are here that can win it all, the o-line development under coach searels must be a slow process, cause under coach kehoe, he had ereck flowers ready, he had nick linder balling, the biggest mistake was moving linder to center, when he was at guard our running game stayed on fire.
I understand what coach richt is doing, he's grooming for the real run com next year or the year after, cause you can only go so far with weak trench warfare. He also knows he has to be able to show that we already got qb's who can get it done this year, otherwise, alot of the good wideouts are not coming here except only for coach dugans. That's why ladson kept coming to the practices, to see the guys who were taking over come next year, so he rolled the dice with clemson.
That game would've been different with trajan in their tho, manny started getting over aggressive trying to cover for dean and it backfired on that first touchdown run. At the end of the day having coach richt here is better than what we had for the. 15 years prior to him getting here, so he has to be given time. Nobody should compare what kirby smart was able to do with what coach richt is doing here. Coach richt left that program in top notch shape, he got here and the roster was all wrong, that's why we gotta overload on d-linemen this year and bring in more o-linemen and tight-ends, so by year 5, this program like it was with butch will be on solid ground, butch if he gets caught up in the short term and the pressure starts coming, people already talking about "its year 3".
But when you coming behind the moron regime that just left, you can only expect so much talent to be here, and those teams thrived off alot of shannon recruits. Im just enjoying the rebuilding process myself, cause i can see where we at with it roster wise.
