Remember when Jimbo left and the had to go with their fifth choice, who was the only one to say yes? Have they resolved all of the issues that made the place toxic?

This upcoming game with Stanford is more interesting considering the current health and mindset of that team, then add on the affect of overcoming the players body’s natural 24-hour clock traveling and playing at 10:30PM EST.

Looks like they are downsizing Doak. 9000+ fewer Noles at big games seems a positive step.

I don’t think Norvell gets fired.

Me either. At least not yet. Their preseason win total was around 7.5, depending where you shopped.

They're 3-3. Yeah, there's a chance they pack it in and finish 5-7 or something like that, in which case they'd find the money, because it'd cost more than $60M to keep him. But they play Stanford, Wake, and VT in 3 of the next 4. Even if they lose to Clemson, if they're 6-4 headed to the last 2 games of the year, that's not far off what they were expected to be pre-season.

FSU doesn't have $62M just to give this loser as he walks out the door. IMO how the next 6 games go very much impacts his future. You can't say this definitively, but I think 8-4 or 7-5 and he's probably back. 6-6 or worse and they probably can't afford to keep him. But if they beat Stanford, VT, Wake, and NC State, and lose to Clemson and UiF, I think he's back next year after a 7-5 season.

I’m not really sure what you’re talking about here, Mike’s buyout is insanely high and FSU doesn’t have that money. So FSU’s next coach will be Mike Norvell. Lol
Here’s a plausible scenario. FSU being in the political seat of Fla. certainly they could swing a deal with ICE, to disappear Mike, maybe to San Salvadore, Venezuela, or New Haven, Conn. He goes no payout, they name the updated bathrooms at Doak after him, and call it a day. Doable, I think.

Bleach was indeed applied to the bathrooms, at least a few months ago.

Gruden's not a bad guy, but he would be a terrible hire for them, which would be good for us. At this point in his life, Gruden is more of a cartoon character than a serious coach. Maybe 10+ years ago he would have made a good college coach.

gruden is going to take tens if not hundreds of millions from the NFL in the next year or two in a settlement because the NFL cannot allow what he intends to do. i think he'll also negotiate an NFL HBC as part of the package. he ain't going to CFB
