Al Golden is out at Miami, a move FSU coach Jimbo Fisher believes was unwarranted.

Fisher credited Golden for regularly recruiting quality players to Miami, [even as Jimbo routinely beat out Al as in Dalvin Cook et al.] no easy feat given the restrictions the coach faced during an NCAA investigation and subsequent sanctions he inherited.

Miami did not agree, firing Golden Sunday following a 58-0 loss to Clemson. Golden went 32-25 with the Hurricanes and 0-5 against FSU.

When your biggest enemy, who has whooped you 6 times in a row, is upset that the coach he was feasting on is gone, you are moving in the right direction.
 
Jimbo is just trolling. He knows that half of what needed to happen has happened.

If the BoT by some miracle hires Butch, Jimbob and the rest of college football will diarrhea themselves.

LOL at his comments. He might well want to concern himself with their trip to Clemson.
 
What do you expect the guy to say? "Yeah I'm not surprised. He sucked. Horrible coach."...he's gonna take the classy route. I'm sure Dabo or any other coach in the ACC prob would say the same thing. Even though they all knew the man was a dumpster fire and was holding the conference by allowing us to be horrible.

WTF?! 4.5 years isn´t showing patience? He would have been fired 2.5 years ago in the NFL.

REALLY JIMBO?!!??!!? Then hire him and his Bubba Mark D to run your defense.... Put your actions where your mouth is...
 
These are silly interviews. What's Fisher going to say? It's still a relatively small coaching community and they all sympathize with guys getting canned. That being said I'm sure Jimbo is watching this hiring very closely. The right hire and it's going to make his job more difficult pulling the right kids from South Florida.

Of course he hates the fact Golden got fired....he was 5-0 against him, and coached circles around that idiot.
He is gonna be wearing brown pants on the sidelines if Butch is hired.
 
You can't expect him to speak the truth. "I can't believe they kept him after his first 3 years. The man is almost completely responsible for my success. If they hire that freak Butch back, I going to have to take frigging SEC job or maybe Pac 10. Heck Nick might retire. Where the heck is he going to get his WRs after Butch sets up camp? Where the heck do I get another RB? You know one that can actually run. No man this sucks. Not fair to Al not fair to me, no fair to anyone except those nasty mean Miami fans. Heck, I know they were laughing at the field goal thing Saturday. Even Bobby called me to make fun. He call again Monday and told me get out a quick as possible 'cause them frigging Canes will be coming back. Just not fair. First my wife and now the Miami BOT. Who can you trust."
 
Everyone is talking about Golden in the past tense like the ************ is dead.

He's alive and well and has 4 years worth of coaching money on the table.
